The problem

Cineworld's September 2026 relaunch drew widespread complaints: Unlimited members could no longer book seats together, a cryptic "single seat gap" error blocked normal bookings, disabled customers couldn't book next to accessible seats, and the homepage forced a cinema choice before showing anything.

The solution

Built a clearly-labelled, unofficial concept redesign that targets the reported failures directly — group booking for the whole Unlimited party in one order with guaranteed adjacent seats, seat rules explained in plain language with a one-tap fix instead of a bare error, and a programme you can browse before picking a cinema. Real accounts (Supabase Auth + Postgres with row-level security) sit alongside a frictionless guest checkout, so booking never requires signing up. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Cineworld — every film price, showtime and seat map is invented demo data.
